Kindergarten

Kindergarten — Mrs. Neal

Hi! I’m Jennifer Neal, and this will be my fourth year teaching Kindergarten at PBES. I am proud to be a part of such an outstanding school. I LOVE my job and my Kindergarten “friends”! Kindergarten is an exciting experience and should be a most enjoyable one. I intend to do all I can to ensure that each child has a successful beginning.

I am a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida where I majored in Elementary Education with a
concentration in Early Childhood Education. I began my teaching career in 1989 and have had the pleasure of working in many different locations (Atlanta, Orlando, Jacksonville, Nashville) in grades K–2. I must say that Kindergarten is my absolute favorite!

I grew up in Vero Beach, Florida and therefore feel a strong connection to the close–knit “beach” community and school family. I’ve been married for 10 years to my husband, Brett. We enjoy the relaxed lifestyle here in “paradise”!

During the year, each child will be involved in Reading, Phonics, Writing, and Math. We will also have many other active learning experiences in the areas of Science, Geography, and Social Studies. We have 4th Grade buddies and enjoy working with them on many different activities throughout the year.

I believe the most important thing I can do for each student is to instill, and help develop, a love of learning.

Here’s to a fabulous year!
